Jasmine Younge, Ph.D., is the current Executive Director of the Georgia NAACP and the first in nearly 20 years. Prior to joing the NAACP, Dr. Younge was Managing Director of Moonus International, LLC. As MD, she created and maintained the strategic direction of the firm. Overseeing operations, she engaged entities around the world seeking consultative services within the following areas: organizational change, human capital, diversity & inclusion, and strategic planning. Most notably, she negotiated the multi-year partnership with FIFA (CONCACAF) to re-invent and develop the region’s international foundation focusing on social responsibility programs in Health, Education and Disaster Relief. The partnership yielded programmatic initiatives related to The World Cup, Gold Cup and other key events serving communities in more than 40 countries.

Dedicated to the field of education and international affairs, Dr. Younge has served on faculty at several universities within the political science discipline since 2007. She currently serves on faculty at Kennesaw State University within the School of Government & International Affairs. To this end, she holds membership with the Council on Foreign Relations, National Conference of Black Political Scientists, and American Political Science Association. Dr. Younge has served as a past Rotary Ambassador to Brazil, Ford Fellow, and Board of Directors for Partners of the Americas (Georgia).

Dr. Younge holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and health information management from Alabama State University, an MBA degree from Delaware State University and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in political science and international affairs from Clark Atlanta University.  She completed her comprehensive exam specialty areas in American Government, Social & Criminal Justice, International Relations (specialty in Africa), and Theological Ethics.

A Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native, Dr. Younge currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her family.
